After undergoing a medical with the Bundesliga champions, Ivan Perisic seems ready to complete the move to Bayern Munich. He has been linked with this move away from the Serie A side Inter and has been expected to join Bayern Munich on an initial season-long loan move. The contract has the option for him to make the deal permanent next year.
On Monday he has been spotted leaving the hospital in Munich saying that he only had a medical check-up. The path for him to head out from San Siro has been cleared and as Inter boss, Antonio Conte wasn’t the obvious fit for the Croatian in his plans. Perisic made some comments about him after the International Champions Cup defeat to Man United, speaking that they are working as a team with him, but they can’t get a positive response.
Their different visions about his play and place in the field brought them to a not very pleasant position. So while the Nerazzuri has no position for Perisic within their ranks, it’s more than obvious that the Bundesliga champions are happy to open their doors.
The Croatian international has been playing in the Bundesliga before for Borussia Dortmund before he joined Wolfsburg midway through the 2012-12 season. Then in 2015 Perisic signed for Inter and has been a regular starter during his four years at San Siro with scoring 8 goals in Serie A during 2018/19 and he has been 40 times in total for the Italian giants across the course of his entire stay.
